Since 1971, Deakin Equipment was a trusted source of safety, work and living supplies for people who earned their living outdoors. If you needed it, Ross Deakin would get it for you.

Times have changed. Evan Deakin (Ross’ son) now leads the company, and the outdoor equipment market is now more competitive than ever. Deakin Equipment has grown to include industry, retail and technology divisions. Balancing the existing respect of the industrial sector with the new and aggressive retail was important. The brand was founded on some very traditional values, and as old as the brand was, we didn’t want to depart from it completely. Deakin is still a family company, and the lifelong relationships with customers is valuable. Recognizing the authentic work & play outdoors distinguishes Deakin from it’s heavily retail competitors.
